Art Empires 0.17.0: Diplomats, Generals and profiles

Sep 15, 2026

Art Empires 0.17.0 is live. Write to other players through your Diplomat, follow your battles with your General, and every player now has a public profile.

  • The Diplomat, a second advisor in the menu bar. Write to other players by display name, pick one of ten emotions for each message, and block or report a conversation. Choose from four Diplomats in Settings.
  • You get a notification when a Diplomat message arrives.
  • The General, a third portrait in the menu bar, reports your raids: those still under way and those fought, with outcome, loot and replay. Choose from four Generals in Settings.
  • Every player has a public profile with an avatar, a short bio, an optional DeviantArt link, leaderboard ranks and the cards made from their own art. Player names link to it, and a profile can be reported.
  • Filter cards by rarity on the card list, in the deck editor, on the Art Gallery wall and in the recycler.
  • The advisor asks you to name each new city still called Settlement.
  • Settings has an email choice for updates on feedback you posted.
  • From September 16, every producer, the Lumber Yard included, adds 2% a level, and production bonuses are no longer capped. Resources produced before then are kept.
  • Your display name, password and sign-in connections are on Settings. Profile opens your public profile.
  • A raid under way shows in the Overgrown Gallery box in place of the Raid button.
  • Sell spare resources waits until you have an Auction House and opens the highest one. The idle crew tip waits until the city can afford something, and the corruption tip hides while the Statehouse upgrade that ends it is going up.
  • Tips that repeat are listed after tips you finish once.
  • Emails count when they are opened and when their links are followed. The Privacy page explains how.
  • The Auction House says for sale, and asks where to deliver only when there is something to buy.
  • The Statehouse panel shows the level needed, and a Town Hall named in a build page lock links to this city's Town Hall.
  • A build tip no longer sends you to a city with no free plot for the building.
