Art Empires 0.23.0: Auto add cards and every Overgrown Gallery level

Sep 18, 2026

Art Empires 0.23.0 is live. The deck editor can fill a deck for you, Overgrown Gallery levels 5 to 10 open as their cards arrive, and abilities can name a minion type.

  • Auto add cards in the deck editor fills a short deck from your free cards, and adds a deck master if it has none. It keeps what you already put in and leaves Save to you.
  • Overgrown Gallery levels 5 to 10 each open as soon as all of their cards are in the game.
  • An ability aimed at minions can name a minion type: give every friendly Slime +1/+1, or destroy a damaged Dragon. A summoned minion keeps its card's type.
  • Angel, Dragon, Merfolk, Nekomimi and Statue are new minion types, people are typed by what they do (Cleric, Cyborg, Engineer, Mage or Warrior), and Folk is gone.
  • Your decks at the Curator's Office are a grid of boxes. The deck master's name opens that card, the count shows only while a deck is short, and New deck opens an Unnamed Deck in the editor.
  • Taking a deck apart is now Delete deck, which asks first and puts its cards back in your collection.
  • An Art Gallery shows one copy of each card. A card already on the wall says Already hung in the collection below it.
  • Choose how many transports sail on a raid with a slider.
  • Every building page ends with the city's resources, headed with the city's name.
  • The city menu shows each building's level beside its name.
  • A card on an Art Gallery wall shows the satisfaction it gives at its condition, not the figure for a Pristine copy.
  • The rates beside a worker slider count your technologies and art movement, so they match the resource bar.
  • An ability that destroys or returns every minion on a side now reaches all of them, not only the first.

Art Empires is my city-building empire game you play in your browser, and every card in it is a deviation submitted by the artist who made it. Play Art Empires at ArtEmpires.com, or read the full changelog.
